Cultured Marble and Granite are manufactured, composite, cast products which are designed to resemble natural materials, without having the drawbacks of them. They do not need to be sealed. They are typically more resistant to staining and breaking, and they do not require special care, beyond cleaning with soap and water. This is a product that, unlike plastic laminates and some natural materials, can quite easily and quickly be repaired and refinished. Best of all, it is a very affordable product, approximately the same as a laminate top with a good quality bowl. This product can have different shapes, edge styles, and a molded one piece bowl (no ugly, grime catching circle around the bowl) Beauty, affordability, and value.
